The Model 415q was manufactured in 1936. It was one of the last types of radios to be built and sold by Atwater Kent Radio.

Rick says, "This radio has never been turned on, My father bought it from an electronics store back in the 1970's as it was sitting in the attic for some 40 years at that time, and was still in the original cardboard box, Story was the person ordered it by mistake thinking it was 120 volt, but turned out to be battery operated so never took it. However the box feel to pieces when it was picked up. There has been nothing done to the radio and is 100% original, even has 1935 tentative and 1936 service data sheets."
